Mike Teece is Director, ATEC Sector Strategy and Engagement at the Commonwealth Department of Education. Mike and his team are responsible for developing new mission-based Compacts, as part of the implementation of reforms recommended by the Australian Universities Accord.
Mike has many years’ experience in higher education policy and analysis both in government and in sector peak bodies. He previously worked at Science & Technology Australia, Universities Australia and the Group of Eight Universities. Prior to this, Mike worked in the Department of Education in higher education and international education roles.
